A few weeks after the conclusion of a long and vigorous semester of distance learning, the Organizational Communication Society held its first general assembly of the year with a theme of “Fonder: Love has no distance.” The assembly provided an opportunity for the members of the organization to mingle, relax, and have fun through various activities.

The event started off with the opening remarks given by the OrComSoc President, John Marie Lema, which was then followed by the distribution of the members to their respective breakout rooms where each member would meet and interact with their teammates. Each team was named after various dating applications such as Tinder, Bumble, and UPdate. These breakout room sessions gave each group a chance to get to know each other and strategize for the activities that were coming up.

The assembly included three games. In the first game, the players guessed which executive committee member was being shown in the various baby pictures presented. The second game put their listening skills to the test as each team tried to guess the titles of different songs played. Finally, the third game showcased the creativity of the Orcom majors through the creation and presentation of various Haikus with different themes about love. The assembly also featured two entertaining performances from Juniors Jeus de Guzman and Eryl Jesel Soriano in between each game.
