Your Guide to OrCom Week 2018: OrCom TM – Brand You

Written by Gab Lagmay

In less than a week from now, the BA Organizational Communication program will be celebrating its special day. On the 26th of September 1984, Dr. Angela Sarile, the dean then of the College of Arts and Sciences, formally founded the BA Organizational Communication program in the university.

UP Manila’s OrCom back then was the first of its kind in the country. A few years after, Dr. Sarile went on to establish the same program in UP Manila’s Taft Avenue neighbors, the De La Salle University.

With the growth and progress that the program has seen steadily since its establishment, the OrCommunity has every reason to celebrate.

…SO CELEBRATE IT IS!

By Tuesday evening, 5-9PM, things will get fiery competitive again as the OrComSoc presents this year’s edition of the OrComAzing Race. Will the SWC witness the crowing of a back-to-back champion? SEPTEMBER 26 (WEDNESDAY)

OrComlympics 2018 5-9PM, SWC

The 3rd day of the OrCom Week will witness the return of a highly-anticipated event: the OrComlympics. From Philippine games to food-eating races and many more sports, get ready to trade those posh clothes for jerseys and rubber shoes just for one night.

EKN: Eto Kami Ngayon 1-4PM, NTTC-HP Auditorium

Are you still unsure where OrCom graduates end up? Well, to answer some of those uncertainties, be sure to attend this year’s EKN: Eto Kami Ngayon at the NTTC-HP Auditorium from 1-4PM.
